Hi all, There has been some discussion recently about vaccines and the part

they may play in the cause of autism. I would like to put my " two cents " in

here. There is no doubt in my mind that vaccines were the catalyst for my

grandson's autism. He is one that was developing normally until his last round

of shots. Saying that, I noticed very subtle things during his development that

didn't seem " right " and they were so subtle that no one else noticed them. I

cared for Tristan every day, because he and my daughter live with us, and I was

his caregiver when Mom worked and still am. I am the one that has taken him to

most doctor appointments and done all the research to understand autism and the

possible causes and treatments. As to which vaccine/vaccines caused this I

don't presume to know. My suspicion is that it is the number, combinations, and

possibly the toxins in them that have caused the damage in our

children/grandchildren. At this point I am questioning the need for vaccines at

all, which I never did before autism, and in fact my grandson was given all

vaccines that were available at that time, some of which were not required by

law. It has caused me to research vaccine extensively and consider the opinion

of medical experts that are outside of the box of the AMA and FDA, and CDC. To

realize that these individuals have nothing personally to gain, and in fact have

much to lose professionally by speaking out, and contradicting and challenging

the AMA's stance on vaccines. It has caused me to see the ways that the same

government agencies can lose if it is proven that vaccines cause harm in more

than one way to children and adults alike. It has caused me to warn others of

the potential dangers of vaccines to themselves and their loved ones. It has

caused me to have strained relationships with family and friends. The bottom

line is that I intensely distrust the medical establishments beliefs and trust

in vaccines, and until more independent studies are done to prove or disprove

the dangers of vaccines, and more safety factors are put in place to insure that

every infant, child, and adult are safe, I will continue to believe that

vaccines are potentially dangerous and advice people not to listen to their

doctors testimony that they are safe. Carlson Get more from the Web.
