Guest guest
Liz: That used to be the case, but now the kids who are doing TD-DMPS may be chelating out too much copper and may need Cu supplementation. Otherwise I still think it's important to avoid copper, as it is very difficult to get a deficiency eating any kind of a normal diet (nuts are high in Cu). That's why copper levels need to be done before starting TD-DMPS and followed while chelating. Guest guest
Dr. McCandless posted several types of zinc - zinc picolinate, zinc monomethionate (VRP), and zinc sulfate (liquid, Thorne). We use zinc picolinate. It's absorbed well by both of our children. I haven't tried the others. Shari ZINCs Hello, Could anyone clarify the different kinds of Zincs and their differences, benefits, drawbacks? We have seen several DAN doctors and of course each one has their own favorite kind. Also, could we use different kinds of Zincs at the same time? Thanks, Many frequently asked questions and answers can be found at <http://forums.autism-rxguidebook.com/default.aspx>
Guest guest
We have all three types. My question is how are they different from each other...Which one is recommended...why?
