Guest guest
Article related to orgasm disfunction due to SSRI: http://www.nature.com/ijir/journal/v18/n1s/full/3901509a.html " Finally, 'antidote' strategies have been the subject of numerous case reports and open trials, but only limited systematic study. In theory, orgasm might be improved with medications that block 5HT-2 and 5HT-3 receptors, or enhance dopaminergic transmission. Indeed, the following agents have been studied as antidotes: the alpha2-adrenergic receptor antagonist, yohimbine;33 the 5-HT2 receptor antagonists, nefazodone34 and cyproheptadine;35 the 5-HT3 receptor antagonist, granisetron;36 the dopamine agonist, amantadine;37 bupropion;38, 39 buspirone,40 psychostimulants41 and other agents, such as Ginkgo biloba and l-arginine (which increase NO)42 and the phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors sildenafil, tadalafil and vardenafil.30, 43 Some agents with established antidepressant properties, such as bupropion, nefazodone and buspirone, may also be effective antidepressant augmentations, and improve sexual function indirectly via their effect on mood. Guest guest
My sperm is the normal colour ,and I have plenty of it, takes more time but i can obtain a decent erection and sex drive is okay but not the way it should be. My problem is genital numbness, loss of sensation on skin and muted orgasm, i probably have a mild form of anhedonia because i can still experience some mental pleasure however i can't cry or laugh like i use to, can't cry period. "the paraventricular nucleus (brain) in penile erection through thecontrol of descending serotonergic raphe-spinal neurons"The above makes sense. My raphe isn't hard like it's supposed to be now and the area beside the raphe on both side of my scrotum are sank in and almost flat against my body, from a lack of blood flow or lack of semen maybe? My testicles feel empty with very little ejaculate. It used to be full and pumped. I feel like my brain doesn't send the neurons to my genitals (heck, even arms, legs, whole body) properly to get the blood flow.My semen is not white anymore, it's almost completely clear. I wouldn't be shocked if I'm infertile now. I could kill my Dr. and not feel the least bit bad about it...but it wouldn't make me feel better because I can't feel pleasure because of anhedonia.
