Thanks for the quick reply. Hannah is 47lbs. We are doing injection SQ once

per week. No the urine is not pink and yes I am sure it is going SQ. We are

getting ours from Coastal Comp. Initially, we got ours from Midwest Comp. in

KS and we were giving it IM as our DAN directed. After about a month, I

switched over to SQ because of all I had read. We have been giving folinic acid

400mcg bid in addition to folic acid(in multi) 200mcg bid. In the beginning we

gave DMG 125mg daily. I have questioned our DAN about whether the DMG might

be causing some aggression. He suggested TMG which we tried and it definatly

caused aggression and hyperactivity. We are currently back on DMG. Thanks so

much for your comments.

: I sent a " help " query to Dr. Neubrander who is a pal of mine.

This is what he answered:

In answer to the " help " below, in order for me to make the most

intelligent

decision, I would need to know the child's weight, the frequency of

injections, the technique for administration, e.g. SQ, IM, " we think we're

doing SQ but the urine is pink " , etc. Please note that I never put more

than MB12 into the initial mix for these exact reasons! With the protocol

I

use, after 35,000 plus plus injections, I have never seen this. However,

I

hear of " funny things " when mixing and matching. Therefore, if you get me

these answers, I will give my feedback. What obviously concerns me is the

apparent discrepancy with what is being done and what I do -- the parent's

statement " the standard 1000 mcg " -- this is not even close to what I

believe or what I do so therefore I can say with certainty that this

family

is not following the protocol I believe in. Also, DMG, folinic acid WITH

MB12 definitely changes the mix. There is only so much homocysteine in

the

telephone booth so putting more people in the phone booth definitely does

not let more calls go out -- it just crowds the phone booth and more BO

(side effects) occur. This child is a responder, no doubt, and will come

out the other side if handled properly. It amazes me how poorly I have

been

able to get across some of the simple basics that repeat themselves in a

predictable manner.

Let me know what you find out. There is an answer and this child WILL

(not

can) be helped!
