That's great! Glad to hear he is growing so fast. We'll get these little heads round again! How long has he had his band now? My has had hers on for 10 weeks so far.

Thanks for asking...I guess I kinda got my feelings hurt by the CT

board I was on. I didn't originally know it was just a CT site. I

guess some people there think I am bashing the DOC band and

uneducated but anyhow... won't go there again. Wasn't planning to

post here but since you asked...Ben is doing great. The band has

been off for a day to let a red spot go away. His head grows so fast

we can't keep the helmet adjusted fast enough. The red spot is

better now so we can get back to business. We are excited that it

seems we may not be in the band as long as we thought. HURRAY!!!

Thanks again for asking.

Hi,

Although a lot of parents here have a baby in a DOCband. We are not

biased. We support all types of treatment for plagio! We hope you

stick around! You may be of some help to a family in your area one

day. They may live in your area and it'll be you that directs them to

a great orthotist!! It really would be worth it. I hope you

reconsider. It is excellent that you are seeing such great results!!

How long has been in his band? When do they think he'll be done?

Thanks to those who have been encouraging at this sight. Ben has

been in his band 4 weeks. Looks like 2-4 more might do the trick.

He was mild to moderate before the band and moderate now. Looks like

we started the helmet right at a growth spurt. Thanks again for

asking...Ben's mom

WOW he is getting some rapid correction! He'll be band free and round

headed in no time! See, that's another reason you should stay..

you'll not only be able to tell them where to go for treatment, but

also how quickly it happened!! Please keep us updated on Ben!

That's great news! It sounds like Ben's progress is going great! It

sounds like he'll be band free with a round head very soon. Does he

need to get another adjustment soon? Sounds like it, YAY.

Please be sure to keep us updated. We are here to support you.

Wow! What wonderful progress! So glad you are sticking around

here. You are seeing great improvement and that is all that

matters. We are on your side no matter what!

I was pretty embarrassed reading those post on the CT site to you.

Some people cheer for the choice of treatment as if they are routing

for their football team. Sounds like some of them were tailgating

too long :)

Hold your head proud. You are doing the best for Ben!
