Guest guest Posted February 7, 2012 Report Share Posted February 7, 2012 hi im new to the group, am a 40 yr old woman who experienced decreased libido after taking citalopram. It became clear to me about 5 months after i took it that this anti depressant made me at least 5 times worse than i was before i took it. It had a devastating effect on my sex life, and only now it is showing signs of improvement. Cannot believe there are no warnings about this and how on earth they are handed out to younger people who only have moderate depression- this appalls me.
