Re: PSSD plus Parkinson's symptoms - anyone?

I had tremers, eyelids fluctuations, cramping feelings in my hands and

feet - my fingers would sort of stick to door handles and my feet would

feel as if they were sticking to the floor- and it felt like there were

1000.s of tiny insects crawling through my body. Pretty severe stuff

but it all completely healed up in 18 months, so I reckon you are in for

a good chance for getting over this.

After about 4 months off drugs my sex drive started to return and I

could have sex with my girlfreind, but only using my imagination

intensely too (by pretending to be at orgies and things). I reckon I

might of recoved but chronic stress killed this - the brain just can't

repair itself when highly stressed. Also, some people don't get PSSD

until a few weeks, or months after coming off drugs, so perhaps that is

what happened to me.

Damn nuisance, she was a lovely girlfriend, and very sexy too, but I

hardly felt anything. I lost her in the end. Every now and again I get

some photo's out of her and I get sad. She was very sweet, elegant, and

pretty, and the sex should have been amazing, perhaps the best ever.

Damn it!

year for a bladder condition.

I'm going through a lot of sadnes at the moment about some of my ex

girlfiends and how I might have missed out on children. But I think I

better keep this post short, before I pour my heart out.

Thanks.

Your doctor gave you a a tricyclic antidepressant, Amitriptyline, to treat a

bladder condition? (!)

Do you think that condition may been a result of the genital anesthesia you

developed after discontinuing Zoloft? I have problems with MY bladder too. It

gets too full because I have genital anesthesia, and I can't tell I need to

urinate until I feel pressure in my abdomen.

Don't count on that. A noted Harvard trained neurologist had my mom on

Parkinson's meds for 6 years. Last month he took her off the meds and declared

she never had Parkinson's at all, only tremors.

At least now I can get a whole bottle of leftover l-dopa if I want.
