hi, im still reading everything on this group though i dont post alot.

i had big problems with my sexual function (it was completely gone) for years

taking paxil and other anti depressants and for several years afterward. i

slowly recovered having a very loving partner and exercising/vitamins a lot and

my sexual functioning is much much better, though not what it was.

had alot of anxiety though recently from PTSD and dr gave me ativan. (lorazepam)

i told her specifically i didnt want anything with sexual side effects AT ALL...

she said it didn't but reading the directions it says it cause sexual 'changes'

and other sexual issues.

i think i would rather eat live rattlesnakes than take this medicine, i feel i

dodged a bullet one time by getting sexual functioning mostly back, though it

took years, i could really use help right now with anxiety but like i said... i

kind of can't imagine how stupid i would have to be to eat even one of them

knowing what can happen.

what do you guys think? the exercise/yoga lifestyle stuff i do wasn't helping

enough with the anxiety hence the temporary extra meds. its not an ssri but

what do you guys think. would you try this med. do you have any experience with

it. ? have you ever taken it? i kind of feel like i know what most of you might

say to this question. / she gave me also hydroxyzine which is an antihistamine

and from what i read supposedly very safe and no effect on sex drive so i do

have an alternative. help guys what would you do.
