She was a nurse all her life in Pgh. Sh donated her body to science when she passed. To the Univerity of Pgh. Medical School. I did not understand that at the time. My mother is doing the same thing. My mother is 85 now, and still kicking. I thought that was odd to do, but since Jeff's tp. I understand now. You don't need your body in th afterlife. But,you could help someone else down the road. My Mom knows that they could not use her organs, but science could use them to teach young Dr's on the anatomy and such.
