Guest guest
I'd heard of stevia but didnt know they had yet managed to import it into the U.S. stevia is not the only sweet but non-caloric plan either. There are grasses native to Laos & Central america which have the same effects. Last I heard the pharmaceutical companies were trying to chase down the plant in central america so they could copy it and sell it as a suger substitute. it figures the companies would press the FDA not to import Stevia. wouldnt want to put the pharmaceutical companies that make sugar substitues out of business. laurie > > I've seen a lot of posts lately about white sugar. Guest guest
My husband and I use Stevia but we have not remotely gotten rid of all the other sugars in the house. We like Stevia quite a bit. We buy it at a whole foods store but it's not close to us. Whenever we are near it I try to pick up that as well as Braggs liquid amino (substitute for soy sauce).
