Hi there,

We had the appt yesterday and the PT was very nice. She assessed Siddharthe for developmental progress and said that he was doing fine there. He has a very slight case of tort. She gave us some home exercises to do ( i was secretly doing them at home anyways) We go back in a week for a follow up.

I hope it gets resolved soon. In the mean time I am still on a rollercoaster where his plagio is concerned. One day i feel there is a difference in the shape and the next there isnt. The photos seem to be playing tricks with my eyes and I see my baby all the time so i dont know what to think. its like I am fixated on his head.

Sorry for whining and going on this way.

Thanks to all of you out there for listening to a neurotic mom's ranting

Neem-

I certainly know what you mean about your eyes playing tricks on

you.

Siddharthe is still at a good age to get natural correction. Keep

taking pictures weekly.

Don't beat yourself up about it. If he does end up getting a band,

it isn't the end of the world. He won't even notice it.

I'm glad you like the PT. Resolving the tort will help keep him off

that flat spot and help the plagio!

Happy Repositioning!

I am glad to hear everything went well yesterday, Neem. I found that by telling the PT what I knew and that I was doing exercises she was more apt to discuss things with me and tell me different things to do. It helps when they know you know what they are talking about. You are not whining...you are a concerned mommy and that is awesome. Keep up the good work and everything will be okay!!

Hi guys!

No Siddharthe does not have a neuro appt yet. It is coming up in nov.

Actually Nov 13th to be exact. He does have a Pt follow up wednesday.

His head FEELS a lot rounder..meaning that when we startewd

repositioning his head's bones felt angular. Now it seems to feel

rounder. I wonder if i am making any sense. I am relying more on the

touch thing because i cant seem to be able to get consistent pics of

his head and hence I do not reach any conclusions based on that.

I hope that it is working for him.

thanks for listening

This is such great news! It seems as though you are much more

comfortable with the progress Siddharthe is making. I know

firsthand how uneasy this whole process can make you. That is a

great idea to feel rather than viualize.

You stayed on top of this and were so diligent about repositioning

him that hopefully you will get great news on the 13th. Way to go!

Neem:

What you are saying makes perfect sense. As the head rounds, you can

certainly " feel " the changes of the headshape. So if you can feel

improvment, I'm sure he's changing for the better. That is

terrific. You're doing such a great job! Keep it up.

I am glad you are seeing some results with Neem with repositioning. Touch is definitely a good way to find out if there is a difference. I can most definitely feel a difference in 's head just in the week she's had her helmet on. Good luck on your neuro appt. and please tell us what the PT says on Wed.

Jnanda;

WHAT is Neem? I can not find it anyplace in Buhner's Healing Lyme book!

I usually hit all my herbs and protocols harder, around the week

surrounding the full moon. I used arteminisin in the beginning, but now

use neem to treat babesia. Neem also treats lyme and other co-

infections, plus candida and fungus, virsues, etc. I seem to get more

results from it than I did the arteminisin, but everyone is different.

Neem is an ayurvedic herb and also used successfully to treat both

babesia, lyme and many co-infections. Some LLMDS use this in their

protocols, and it is widely used in India as both a treatment and

preventative for malaria - which is a similiar disease to babesia.

Oh, okay Jnanda, thanks. I tend to stay away from any herbs from India though,

as I have read that they are adulterated for sure, and Buhner told me he would

not take ANY adulterated herbs.

One word of caution about Neem- I have used many different brands of neem

for years to treat yeast issues. Most neem is contaminated with mercury and

possible other heavy metals, as are many other Ayurvedic herbs. I found

this out the hard way when I was using it heavily for the yeast and my hair

started to fall out. It took me 2 years it figure out it was the neem. I

have even tried " organic products " from India (but not the one just

mentioned from Organic India). India is an intensely polluted country and

even the organic brands are not immune. So, please everybody, be careful

when using it! As we all know heavy metals can really complicate the lyme

issue!

I had also bought Neem leaves for some time, but they never test for me

(even if they test as antibabesial). I wonder why. I guess, like other

herbs, not everyone can take all of them!

My cat tested positive to neem though. I believe it helped his

intestinal parasites. But he didn't want more of it later. Maybe

because his problem was solved? He used it short term, few weeks.
