Guest guest
One important thing I forgot to tell everyone about the Beckett application.... * Most case workers are not familiar with the HIPP (Health Insurance Premium Program). I can't remember which form it is on, but Allan Hill said it's something the case worker is supposed to tell you about (but most of them don't know about). This program reimburses families for their private health insurance premiums...seems too good to be true, but it is true because they've been reimbursing me for a long time. If you have been approved for Beckett and want to apply for the HIPP, call and ask them to send you an application. If you think about it, it makes total sense --- it's cheaper for the state if we keep our kids on private insurance versus taking them off and them solely depending on their Beckett Waiver....so they reimburse us our premiums to ensure we keep our kids on our private health insurance. Hope it helps... ===== , GA __________________________________________________
