Has anyone ever treated this condition before successfuly? I have a

pt mid 50s who has had this for three years. There is a possibility

that it may have been triggered by the use of a fertility drug

Mesterelone (testosterone). He has also been diagnosed with mild

BPH, however he seems to be experiencing Sx that suggest the BPH is

more than mild ie significant slow start to urinary flow,

restriction and incomplete emptying.

I have so far tried Serrenoa, Urtica rad, equisetum, a,

hydrangea, berberis vulgaris, Echinacea, Hypericum, Anemone, Thuja,

Scutellaria, Zanthoxylum, Zea mays, Althea fol, Solidago an

isosoyaflavone supplement and zinc. After two months of treatment

there is not the slightest change. He previously had some chinese

herbs that helped within 6 weeks but owing to various factors this

treatment was discontinued and he is keen to continue with me. Most

recently we are trying aloe gel locally for the anus and castor oil

packs inguinally.

His main symptoms are an intense anal itch, left inguinal pain,

intense pain on ejaculation owing to failure to release semen.

I would really appreciate any thoughts on this.
