No. I rent the scale from Medela and pay for the loss/damage waiver. So if it should get damaged, I just pay to ship it back. Medela fixes it and I can order another one which they ship to me. They pay to ship scales and pumps to me, I pay to ship them back, for any reason (needs repairs, market change, etc.) I also means that if a scale or pump is stolen (5 pumps stolen in the past 17 years, no scales stolen so far), it is not my headache. I am only out the rent that accrues as I try to get the renter to return the equipment, until I give up and turn it over to Medela to try to collect on the equipment. I have to turn the lost rent over to a collection agency myself, but at least I'm not out the cost of the equipment.

Thanks, Dee. $20/wk is very reasonable! Do you ask for a credit card in case of damage?Lea > > > > > > > What is the range that people are charging to rent a baby weigh scale? I now have the capacity to rent one and have a client who might benefit from it, but of course now I don't have a clue as to what to charge. I'm sure there is some geographic variation, but just

so I can get an idea.> > Thanks!> > Lea Todaro> (Brooklyn, NY)>
