Guest guest
We've had a horrible time dealing with our daughter's eczema. I can control it by limiting certain foods, and avoiding polyester clothing, but her interaction with carpet at school is difficult to avoid. I learned about a gadget this week, and wonder if it's for real? Alyssa picks at her eczema at school (she in kindergarten), and all the hydrocortisone in the world doesn't keep her from scratching it til she bleeds, and then picking at the scabs. She's fully included in kindergarten this year, and the scratching and obsessive picking at scabs is really bothersome to the teacher and aide (and to mom and dad). I received an unusual mail order catalog this week, called GAIAM harmony. (www.gaiam.com) It is filled with organic bedding and clothing and a purchase of some products helps people in need. (okay, I'm probably the only one here who'd never heard of this company before...) It contains a product called the " Itch Stopper " , which has its own web site. http://www.itchstopper.com/ Has anyone heard of this product? I wonder if it could get us through some of the rough times with the eczema? Penny
