Guest guest
Permission to Post: Mom with 5 month old wants to relactate. She has not nursed or pumped in 6 weeks. Says she started pumping Thursday and each time she pumps thick, yellow milk comes out. Says it looks like colostrum. She wants to know how long till the milk looks normal again. I looked in my resources and came up with nothing. She says it is still happening. Could this be old milk? But looks the same each time. Infection? No S & S of infection. Encourage lots of STS, and pumping both side q 2-3. Anyone with an idea of what could be going on with the milk?
