Guest guest
Summer is almost upon us and I thought maybe we could perhaps exchange a few nice and easy recipes. Hope you enjoy! TEXAS TWO-STEP CHICKEN PICANTE 1-1/2 cups Picante sauce 3 T packed light brown sugar 1 T Dijon-style mustard 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves 3 cups hot cooked rice Mix picante sauce, sugar, and mustard. Place chicken breasts in 2-qt. shallow baking dish. Pour mixture over chicken. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until chicken is done. Serve over a bed of rice. GRILLED MARINADED CHICKEN WINGS 1 cup vegetable oil 1 cup orange juice 1 cup soy sauce 1 T crushed garlic Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Add wings and bring to a boil. Boil slowly for 15-20 mins. Can be kept in marinade in fridge till ready to barbecue. Grill for 15 minutes or till nice and crispy. I usually double the marinade. ---------------------------------
Guest guest
Jan, `I wanted to take a minute to thank you for all the recipes you send. I have tried a number of them and they are great. I am addicted to the food network and love to cook. I am going to try the beef and barley soup you sent awhile ago. Since soup is such a big part of my diet, I want to try it.
