Guest guest
We are using Diflucan with oral DMPS with good results. Our doctor may switch to TD-DMPS after 2 more rounds of oral DMPS and a urine test. He mentioned that caprylic acid would also be good to control yeast during chelation. We're still on a very low dose of Diflucan. We didn't give her the Diflucan for two days during chelation and she started to laugh as if she were drunk - it was just an inappropriate type of laugh. She never did that with DMSA, but we never saw positive results from DMSA either. Shari has anyone here used Diflucan and TD-DMPS together? My son is on his third course of Diflucan, which has worked beautifully to kill off his yeast overgrowth (urine OAT arabinose has declined from 126 to 108 to 80's.) During this last round it took one week to get the " die-off " smell to his breath, which is much less pronounced than previously. (Nice to see the correlation!) I plan on starting TD-DMPS. Can it be started while on Diflucan? nat Many frequently asked questions and answers can be found at <http://forums.autism-rxguidebook.com/default.aspx>
Guest guest
That inappropriate laughter is a yeast symptom. I know when Zack is having yeast, or die off, he does that. And when I upped him to two scoops starting today, of the lauricidin, guess what? inappropriate laughter. I had given him one scoop last night before bed. Zack is not a breakfast eater, so he had one full scoop on an empty stomach. IN church this morning, he started the inappropriate laughter. Coincidence? I really don't think so. The rest of the day, he has been fine, but complaining that his stomach hurts (but not acting 'sick'). has anyone here used Diflucan and TD-DMPS together? Guest guest
Thanks, Shari. I've actually heard now from many parents who have been using both together without any problems. I will stop the Diflucan at the end of this course, since I feel his " yeast load " will be greatly diminished, and then start the TD-DMPS. It's just nice to know I can restart it, if necessary, while on the TD-DMPS. (Although I won't know when to start it, since he never exhibited any signs of yeast overgrowth other than the urinary arabinose titers.) nat
Guest guest
Yeah - it's hard to know without any physical signs - as I said - our daughter laughs weird. I hope he does well on the TD-DMPS. Shari Re: has anyone here used Diflucan and TD-DMPS together? Thanks, Shari.
