Guest guest
Dear Ken, Just joined your list. I suffer w/ CFID, FMS, amongst other maladies. I have found one advantage to the " fibro-fog " ...I can watch movies that I have seen before without realizing for the most part that I have ever watched them. The same goes for reading good books...just wait a bit and it is like reading it for the first time again!! *L* Also meet a lot of new people that sometimes I don't realize I have met before! Ha! And traveling??? Hee Hee...kinda like deja vu...except I know for a fact that I have been there before, it is all new country. Laughter is one of the best medicines in the world, and since I am EXTREMELY chemically sensitive and cannot take hardly any meds at all, except for Soma when the pain gets real bad, I rely on Cranio Sacral massage therapy, meditation and prayer, and dance movement as well as other little modalities that my wonderful angel of a Nurse/Massage Therapist taught me. I am 100% female, but don't go anywhere without my " balls " ! Tennis balls that is...at the first sign of a tension headache, I put them just under the bony prominence on the back of the skull, lie down and do some deep breathing for about 15 min. and VOILA...head and back aches go away...try it, you'll like it!! Hot bathes work wonders for me as well, with addition of empsom salts and baking soda to pull toxins from my body. My Doctor is young, as matter of fact I was waiting for him with my whole gamut of complaints when he came out of Med. School. Bless his heart, he has stuck with me through all of it and he is getting quite an education from me, although he says I " read too much " .. nurse says I embarass him with my knowledge! OH! I also consume at least 12 gallons of distilled water each month and have cut fats and some foods to which I was allergic from my diet and that makes a big difference...God Bless you and thank you for the list! Sorry if this is a little rambling, but sure you can follow it if you read it a couple times! *Laugh* A FMily member, Diane
