Hi Kit - Yes, I realize that the antidepressants " hang around " for a time, and

also take some time to get working again when I begin them agian. I have been

off anything for a couple months, and my MD started me on Wellburtin 150mg

today. This is something I haven't taken/tried before. I took Nortriptyline

for quite awhile before, and Paxil for a short time. Paxil made me " numb " and

not care about a thing. I hated that feeling - I want to feel - just be a bit

more relaxed so my body can begin it's own healing. don't know if I mentioned

it before or not, but I also get massage therapy twice a week.

I am trying to focus on the positive - getting/being well. This doesn't mean

that I expect to be like I was before. My give all/do all attitude is part of

what got me down ill to start with. I expect to get my energy back, and will

take care to not let myself get down again.

My massage therapist loaned me a book Tues. I've read about 1/2 of it so far.

It stresses whole body healing - from the inside, and letting the natural body

heal itself, and changing the lifestyle to promote recovery; also the benefits

of mind/body medicine, and the healing pwer of deep relaxation. It also gives

some helps in how to do that (but I haven't gotten that far yet). The book

is: " Recovering From Chronic Fatigue Syndrome " by Collinge, MPH, PhD.

I'm anxious to finsih the book, and am thinking I'll need my own copy to refer

to, and mark as I'd like.

Hope everyone is have as good a day as possible. I'm trying to focus on

being/getting well, as opposed to how awful I feel. Course, there are some

days when I feel so awful/hurt so bad that's all I can think of. Sure you all

understand that!!

Take care of yourselves, and God Bless you. <><
