Guest guest Posted April 1, 2003 Report Share Posted April 1, 2003 Over the past few weeks, I have been learning how true it is that the dosage of cytomel that I was prescribed is a placebo as (Topper) has pointed out. .5mcg twice a day, and that was the increased dosage from .5 mcg once a day. And that was all I was taking, no other meds!And now reading about the compostion of Armour- talking about mcgs using whole numbers and not decimals! No wonder the pharmacy had to special order the cytomel for me- because of that strength . This indicates to me,that one emphasis should be on thyroid patients' education. Do they all think that we came down with yesterday's rain? I will be so glad when the medical establishment is no longer what it is today----and I work in the medical field, though only certified personnel, not licensed. But frankly, I'm beginning to think that my certification is worth more than what I'm seeing in the license out here. marin@... Getting Feistier!
