ATZ and bilirubin

With the high incidence of bilirubinemia being remarked in the literature, I wonder if anyone knows the cause, possible consequences beyond jaundice, and possible treatment. Is it, as I suspect, the sequestration and destruction of red blood cells in the spleen with no known treatment? Why does it seem to cause so little concern?

Given all we've suffered in the past from the latest miracle drugs, one would think doctors and drug companies would be peering down the road at consequences and cures of this inconvenient side effect.

Of what benefit are low trigs and lipids and a reconstructed face if you become a peau jaune?
