My silence, Donovan's request for 60 min. tape

Hi everybody,

Have some friends visiting for a few days, & have been spending some

time with them. (that's the good part).

But despite backups & all kinds of precautions, my regular pc (where

all my work & 'valuable stuff' is) has just decided to destroy itself.

So I'll be playing nursemaid to it next week to reprogram it, & maybe

will then get back to whatever it is that's normal for me.

Meantime, fortunately I have a laptop, so I'll be in touch, but

maybe a bit less than usual.

Re: Donovan's request for the 60 Minutes tape on chronic pain, I'll

copy it once I'm done with the computer (about 10 days). It is a good

piece of work. Not only does it chronicle the problem & treatments, but

gets into the medical & treatment polotics too. Will try to make some

extra copies if anyone wants to borrow it.
