Guest guest
Tonight wasn't a totally nourishing traditions dinner. I used refined white flour lasagna noodles instead of some 100 percent buckwheat ones made from scratch. The intent was there, but I haven't tried to make them before and decided tonight just wasn't the night to experiment. I only used 9 noodles in the whole casserole though and put the rest of them, cooked, in the dogs dish along with some leftover chicken, broccoli, whey, etc. I found this very interesting. Everything was all mixed up so it looked kind of like a casserole. The dog ate the broccoli, slurped the whey and chowed on the chicken but was very careful to eat all of the way around the refined white noodles. In fact she ended up taking them all out of the dish and tossing them all over the place so she could get the last few drops of whey. I am just amazed that she wouldn't eat the noodles. Guest guest
I've never made lasagna of any sort, but we recently made pizza using cashew cheeze. VitaMix works best if you have one, but it's just cashews and red bell pepper blended together... S S Lasagna Posted by: " wheelertrio2002 " wheelertrio2002@... wheelertrio2002 Sun Jan 17, 2010 6:06 am (PST) I have had some rice noodles taking up space in my pantry for quite some time now. Anyone have any good recipes? It is just hard for me to imagine lasagna without the ricotta and mozzerella! ------------------------------------------------------------ Click here for easy weight loss help and diet information. Guest guest
What is Daiya, and where do you buy it? I can't seem to find a decent cheese substitute anywhere.
