Guest guest
I took my shot on Friday night, didn't sleep much, keep waking up. Got up Saturday morning shocked to see that I was feeling pretty good, but as the day went on it really started to hit me, I actually felt like I was coming down with the flu, chills and achy all over, so I spent all the day in the bed. Sunday morning wasn't as bad but it took me until later that afternoon to feel like moving around, but by then the nausea from the ribavirin started to kick in. Didn't sleep any Sunday night due to the nausea, Monday nausea and chills, and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband who was up most of the night just to make sure that I was okay, and I woke up a couple of time to find him with his hand on my head saying a little prayer over me, and I did manage to work 6 hours. Tuesday morning had quiet a bit of nausea but I was feeling better by the afternoon, but today has been really good, and I am so thankful for a GOOD DAY. Maybe next week will be better, but just remember take it one day at a time. I will be praying for you and keep me informed of how your treatment goes. We are starting about 3 weeks apart, maybe we will learn some things that we can share with each other. Sharon MsTigerHawk wrote: I'm starting on November 16. How long after your shot did it hit you? Tomorrow I start a stretch for more activity than I want. Will have to take it from day to day if I do everything. One good thing is that I don't have to cook tomorrow. Guest guest
Well, as usual when I have a good day, I have to overdo it. We paid $80 for a mattress pad for our new mattress which is guaranteed not to let the mattress get stained. I am not sure what is the cause, think it is chemicals in Ed's sweat which has broken down the material in the pad to the point where a lot of the seams for the quilting have torn apart. So, I decided to sew them back together. Those of you who sew, imagine doing 5 seams into the middle of a thick mattress pad. I have been pulling and pushing for the last hour and now I am not haivng a good night. I hope that I will lose a pound or two anyway. I sure did break a sweat and might have broken my back. I would put lol, but I hurt too much. Jan H > > Happy Halloween and Hi Bob, > I have actually had a good day today too. Guest guest
Just curious, If you paid for the stain free, insurance or guarantee, why don't you just call the store and have them replace the mattress? Which is probably not applicable since you've sewed into it. :-) The way I look at it, is if something is not supposed to damage something else, and it does. Then the owner of the guarantee/insurance should reimburse the customer for the amount that was contracted at purchase. At the very least go get your $80.00 back! Guest guest
I've only got 2 weeks of vacation coming and 2 days of sick leave. We'll see how it goes. Guest guest
MaC - it wsn't insurance, it was a mattress pad which is guaranteed to keep the mattress from getting stained regardless of what you put on the pad. And the mattress still has no stains, was afraid if the rips in the pad weren't sewn up that it would get stained. But, you do have a point, Not sure though how long the pad is guaranteed for. It is five or six years old. I would just buy another one, but not Ed. As to what I am feeding Ed. I think it probably has more to do with his work than what he eats. He is a mechanic, and constantly getting chemicals on himself. It is a good thing we are rather isolated here, or sometimes when I make him strip outside before coming in and taking a shower the neighbors could get a good show. I am extremely sensitive to odors, most give me instant asthma. He is also very oily. Don't know how he can be so oily here, but he cleans the oil off his face by scraping his pocket knife over it. And he does wash it at least twice a day. Probably more than you wanted to know. How are you and Colleen doing on the weight? Guest guest
Jan, it was me who brought up the thing about what he eats. It was just a joke, but Ed sounds very much like my father , who is a machinist.
