Dear v0rnan19,It is very satisfying to see something being done about this condition, however, I am concerned that

the data collected in this survey will not stand up to scrutiny. If the intention is to gather information relative to stoppage of SSRI's (PSSD), the PSSD status of the survey

participants should be established by including a medication

history such as which SSRI was historically taken, start and stop dates, dose, concomitant medications, etc. The only medication question asks for current medications, but does not record past medications. To: SSRIsex Sent: Thursday, April 5, 2012 9:22 AM Subject: Important - PSSD Medical Survey

Dear group members,

We are starting a new medical survey about PSSD that will be published

in a medical journal. We want to gather as much information about the

symptoms from as many participants as possible. This will give us a

very clear picture of PSSD symptomatology, bring greater awareness to

the syndrome, as well as increase it's credibility as a real medical

phenomenon.

The research is being conducted by:

Yossi Ben-Sheetrit, B.Med.Sc, Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Israel.

Prof. Haggai Hermesh, MD, Geha Mental Health Center, Israel.

Prof. Dov Aizenberg, MD, Geha Mental Health Center, Israel.

Dr. Antonei B. Csoka, PhD, University, Washington DC, USA.

Drs. Aizenberg and Csoka have previously conducted and published

research about SSRI sexual side effects, so have experience and

credibility in the field.

Please take a few minutes to take the survey, which is completely

anonymous. Here is the link:

Thanks very much for your participation.

MO,

In question 2 the survey asks if the subject ever experienced sexual dysfunction

while taking any medications (past or present), and specifically asks about

duration of use and " Time Since Quitting (if stopped taking any medication) " .

Question 7 is for all current medications, regardless of sexual adverse effects

(see attached print-screen).

Is this survey ONLY for those who have taken SSRIs, or is it for those of us who

have experienced sexual dysfunction from neuroleptics as well?

There is no " funny business " going on here, Survivor. I can assure you that

every researcher connected with this study has their heart in the right place.

It's necessary to ask questions about past smoking, drinking, drug use etc.

history for it to be a professional survey.

V

>

> I noticed that the survey has questions about smoking, depression, anxiety,

alcohol, etc..

> From my experience, these are the scapegoats that quacks claim sexual problems

were caused by after giving the drugs. Even though I never experienced the drug

side effect until the day I was given the drug, they pretend that the drug they

give has no side effects. If you've ever had a single beer even 6 or 12 months

prior, the quacks will blame it on that. Or if you are a light smoker, the

quacks will blame it on that. It's the same scam they use for Nueroleptic

Malignant Syndrome (NMS). The quacks will say that it was the flu, and cover up

the medical test proving NO flu and the test proving NMS. Even if you've never

had sexual dysfunction before being drugged, even during spells of sadness or

anxiety, the quacks will blame it on that.

> In fact, I have never seen a shred of scientific proof that sadness or a

cigarette or a beer will cause years and years of endless sexual dysfunction.

Obviously it's non-sense, as opposed to scientific fact.

>

> Given these facts, and seeing the survey has these questions..

> I am not feeling confident that the final analysis will strongly implicate the

SSRI drugs. I assume at least one study author knows the issue very well. I

wonder if we will continue to see the same fraud after the study is complete. As

of now, the classic hallmarks are in place. And for the sake of posterity, I

answered that I do not smoke, drink, feel depressed or anxious, since I know

that in my case, these things have nothing to do with PSSD or PNSD.
