Guest guest
Hi Jana: I was diagnosed with asthma a couple of years ago and they told me that it was allergy induced. I took allergy tests and like you found that I was allergic to just about everything including cats which I have had many, many cats over the years (and still have them) I have had many medications since then. All kinds of puffers but usually have to resort to predisone. Anyway, I have been taking allergy shots for the past three years and found that it did not help that much. The allergist and pulmonary specialist decided to stop the shots since they feel it might be making the asthma worse, although they will not know until I am off the shots for a period of time, which I have been off for a month . We will see. I also was on Singular and it did not make a bit of difference in my case. I am on Advair now and that seems to help. With asthma it seems to be a hit and miss for awhile until you find something that really helps. It takes time to figure out what works and what does not. Need patience. Many blessings Maureen Singulair? Hi, I just started taking Singulair and was wondering if anybody has had any bad side effects from it?? Thanks Jana

Guest guest
Hi, I have been taking acculate since it was first introduced. I have had no problems whatsoever, and it has been a great help to my breathing. ~Eagle Holiday Sigs~
Guest guest
HI Jana, my lungs are highly sensitive to anything just like yours. I did have allergy shots for 3 years. Some worked and some did not. For instance the mold allergies worked, but the dust allergies did not. It all depends on the individual. PFT tests show exactly how much space is left in your lungs to use, or how much lung function you have. mine are at 20 % . So your 70% sound pretty good to me. ~Eagle Holiday Sigs~

Guest guest
My last one showed less than 20 % lung useage. That is why I can no longer work. ~Eagle Holiday Sigs~
