Guest guest
Haha - -forgot to add that beer was also a rare commodity. It came in on the train once a month and everyone who could afford it drank themselves silly for about 2-3 days until the beer ran out. Since we had no refrigeration, we drank it warm. So I really do NOT like cold drinks or drinks with ice. I did not see a dramatic increase in yeast when the beer rolled into town, nor a decrease during the recovery period after the beer binges. This is not to say that there is not a connection to ingesting sugar and yeast and increases in yeast infections. Just that I'd like to read some solid peer-reviewed research. I will go through the recommended books. sburgernutr@...
