Can Dapoxetine counter Paroxetine damage?

Hi all,

I was on Paroxetine (branded as Loxamine here) for much of 2011, however I quit

around November.

I originally went on Paroxetine for mild anxiety, seems now like an extreme

measure but at the time I thought nothing of it. I quit Paroxetine because I had

quickly gained 10 kilograms on the drug. After stopping in November, I had lost

those 10 kilograms within about 3 weeks without any effort whatsoever. Stupid

drug!!!

Anyway, while I was on Paroxetine I had more control and lasted longer,

especially in the early stages of taking the drug. In fact, I was lasting TOO

long. Now that I'm off however, I am suffering the complete opposite, which is

obviously premature ejaculation.

So now my question to you all is: Can the drug Dapoxetine help me last longer

without the massive weight gain that comes with Paroxetine?

A little more background...

I'm a 24 year old male, living in NZ where I think Dapoxetine is approved and

available. I'm about 183cm tall and 75 kilograms, so a reasonably healthy BMI.

Hi,

Dapoxetine is a short-acting SSRI, and to my best knowledge, it is taken before

sex and not on a daily basis, so gaining weight is unlikely. You may want to

consider other options such as on-demand tramadol and/or topical anesthetics

like Emla.
