Guest guest
Hi List, I have not noticed the upcoming Medical Conference mentioned yet, so I thought I would provide the information. TCART (Texas Center for Autism Research and Treatment) http://www.tcart.org & the San Autism Society http://www.sanantonioautism.org , both have information on the conference since they are co-hosting it. It will be held on February 23, 2002 at the University of Texas Health Science Center Auditorium in San . For parents, the conference fee is $65.00's. They are offering a Bar-B-Q that evening to provide an opportunity to network with other parents ($15.00). There will be a follow up on Sunday the 24th where I believe we can ask questions about things presented on Saturday. " Each year this medical conference gets better and better. Now considered one of the nation's best medical conferences on autism and P.D.D., physicians, professionals, and even parents will want to attend this conference, to be held in San . Speakers include Dr. Vernon , Dr. Sidney Baker, Dr. Ray Palmer, Dr. Schneider, Dr. Ted Kniker, Dr. Hardy, Dr. Jerry Tomasovic, and Dr. Jane El-Dahr. The conference is unique blend of practical application, as well as discussion of cutting-edge research. STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU REGISTER EARLY, since registration is limited to available seating, and registration closes February 8, 2001. Contact Convention Coordinators for details, including location, registration fees, and program material. Registration can be done on-line at: http://secure.grandcentralhosting.com/autismsociety/ and payment through credit card is available, or you can print out a form for snail mail at: http://secure.grandcentralhosting.com/autismsociety/registration.doc . If you are interested but finances are a problem, contact your school district or education regional service center to see if they can pay for you to go. I am thinking of sending my regular pediatrician (more expensive for physicians).
