Guest guest
Pati, Actually I have had the opposite happen to me. My family doctor was the one who balked at the medications. Also he was not abreast of how to administer medications to someone who is in chronic pain. When I got to the neurosurgeon he was the one who prescribed the meds. I felt that he had more experience with this type of pain. Things really turned around when I went to a pain clinic. This is where things started to make sense to me. This is where I was taught how the body works when it is always in pain. Just another one of those examples that what works for one may not be true for another.
