deciding whether or not to rent pumps and provide supplies

Hello all,I am an IBCLC just starting out in private practice, and am trying to decide whether or not to rent pumps and provide supplies.  I will not have an office and will only be seeing people on home visits.  It seemed at first like it would be a good idea, because then that way, if a mom needs a pump or some kind of supplies, I can easily supply that for her.  However, I have been in touch with the larger pump company, and you now have to have a minimum order of $3000 and 15 different product SKU numbers.  You have to provide pictures of your " storefront " even if you don't have a physical store.  I have been trying to get information for a few weeks now, and I am being told something different by everyone at the company that I talk to.  Can anyone share on why they do or do not rent pumps, and maybe who you work with?

Thanks so much for any guidance!Sonya Shaver, BS, CHES, IBCLC
