Guest guest
Hello all,I am an IBCLC just starting out in private practice, and am trying to decide whether or not to rent pumps and provide supplies. I will not have an office and will only be seeing people on home visits. It seemed at first like it would be a good idea, because then that way, if a mom needs a pump or some kind of supplies, I can easily supply that for her. However, I have been in touch with the larger pump company, and you now have to have a minimum order of $3000 and 15 different product SKU numbers. You have to provide pictures of your " storefront " even if you don't have a physical store. I have been trying to get information for a few weeks now, and I am being told something different by everyone at the company that I talk to. Can anyone share on why they do or do not rent pumps, and maybe who you work with? Thanks so much for any guidance!Sonya Shaver, BS, CHES, IBCLC
