Forgot to mention a primary cause of several of my " complaints " - I have what my doctors describe as " degenerative spine disease " - whatever that translates to in medical terms. It do make life a mess whatever it is. Personal data - I'm 63 years old, an early retiree from IBM after 29 years in the Sysytem Engineering ranks, ran my own PC counsultant business for 6 years after retirement, was a teacher for 6 years before joining IBM (English, " social studies " , and coached all 3 major sports), during that 6 years I also went to graduate school and worked never less than 2 (and sometimes 3) jobs at once.
