Guest guest
Did anyone see short segments on KHOU and KTRH about how immunized children's health is threatened by non-immunized children?! Gee, if the vaccines work, then what's the worry? They of course didn't explain any of this, or titre leves, or side effects, etc. But I'm sure some of this is aimed at the population that doesn't go to the health clinics to get their shots & can't afford health care. Seems there is a new campaign for vaccines out there now since the same story aired on 2 different channels. If you're interested in educating them some more, then drop them a line. Yes, there are people choosing to forego immunizations and others choosing to space them out with mercury free versions. www.ktrk.com www.khou.com Janice
Guest guest
Oh man, yes, I saw the same reports, JJ. Made my skin crawl. I had been thinking about this topic as Texas is considered 50th out of the 50 states I think( yippee ) ....ie DEAD LAST .....in " Immunizing Their Little Texans " and that guy (SP? ) Orenstein was here about 2 months ago for a big dinner to explain to doctors and epidemiologsts etc how to combat this horrible atrocity ...ha ha ha. I agree with you,JJ and have said this many times myself, especially to the school nurse " If your children are all vaccinated against these terrrible illnesses - and if vaccination works so great - what are you worried about ?
