Guest guest
Hello everyone, Well, I can honestly say there is a miserable virus going around, at least here in Las Vegas, the new crossroad of the world. As you may know, had to put the list on auto pilot for what I thought would be a few days. Turned out to be a few more. In my former life, this would have disturbed me a lot. But have had to make so many concessions to what I can't do that it didn't bother me as much. Thanks for the good wishes. I have a few hundred posts in my queue and a lot of catching up to do. Penny Cowan, in her ACPA workbook talks about setting 'loose goals.' When I first read it I thought it was a great idea, and it probably still is. But after setting loose goals (say complete a certain thing within a month) and having to keep loosening them more & more, I'm not too happy with the idea. Tho I do have to live with limits, it has never kept me from being overly ambitious. Right now I'm behind on more thing than I can count. I started a business opportunity newsletter, & am 3 weeks behind my schedule because I haven't put in the classified advertising. (but no one knows when it is supposed to come out-- I just date it with the month). I have also been setting up a nutritional supplement business, and have a lot of web site programming to do. My attitude has become 'it'll be there when it gets there.' But I don't really like that attitude. I guess this is just part of our legacy. How do you other folks out their in cyber land handle goals? If there is a better way, I'd sure like to find it!

I make great plans but I let my body tell me when enough is enough. And I've learned to say no to others because that is when I really overextend myself.
