Guest guest Posted January 27, 2012 Report Share Posted January 27, 2012 I can't tell you yet how well this model works, but the one I'm negotiating with two doc offices is to contract with me for a flat rate for a specific scope of work. For example, $X for 1 group and 2 clinics. The clinics would be booked through the office and billed to the insurance company by the doctor. I will chart and apply appropriate ICD codes so the billing person can put it together. Both of the docs I've talked to seem open to this because they understand that while it may not be direct cost savings I will be improving their customer satisfaction (thus improving overall billing) and improving the health of their children and families thus improving the profitability of their practice.
