Hi

" Transmural " just means " through the wall " . I am not sure if in this case

that means via laparoscopy (as opposed to via the cervical canal) or if it

just means that a piece of the entire uterus wall was removed (the wall is

weakened because a myoma was removed through it). The muscle layer of the

uterus is more " on the outside " (mucosa, connective tissue, muscle layer -

from inside out) and the myoma is a growth in the muscle layer so even

coming from the inside, transcervical, you would have to go through the

wall. May be we have a specialist on myomectomy here who can explain better?

But anyways, I don't know which language you are translating into, but I

would just leave " transmural " as it is the commonly used latin term.

Hope this helps
