Ronnie,I understand everyone's concern about the use of opiods and addiction,

but

using large amounts of Tylenol on a daily basis is actually much worse for you

health wise. It is very hard on the liver and kidneys as well. And it is

possible

to overdose on them, so pleasse be careful. There are new pain meds out for

moderate to severe pain that are in the opioid class that are timed- released.

They are less addicting and are suppossed to last for 12 hours, which I don't

find they do, but they do not contain any aspirin or acetaminophine. I asked to

be switched over to these after being on Darvocet and similar meds for a long

time and seeing my liver enzymes going up as well as triglicerydes. And I still

take my milk thistle to help protect my liver whenever I can manage to remember

to do so.

I wish I could find an anti-depressant that I could take to help with the pain.

Most of them I eventually develope a sensitivity to , get migraines, irregular

heartbeat, or they make me tense and increase the Fibro pain instead of reduce

it. And forget the tricyclics as they put me out for days and I also eat

everything in sight.!

Luck to you. Sometimes I feel like a walking pharmacy.
