Guest guest
>>Can anyone explain to me how the nonprescription glandular sold by Nutri-Med is different from Armour?<< Can't tell you in technical terms, but just like the generic for Armour, it is NOT the same. I have tried both generics and the non-prescription glandular products, and neither works on my system at all. It is like having NO thyroid meds. I am guessing that T3 is rather hard to preserve potency on... T4 preparations have never worked well for me, so this is just my experience with it. Guest guest
I went from the better part of three years with little or no thyroid and then went to Nutri-Meds Porcine... it works great for me... My system requires frequent dosing.. I found that with Synthroid too...so it's not just the Nutri-Med... If I take it every three to four hours I'm fine.. no sleepies..alert, good mood.. if I skip or for the several days that I went to every 8 hours I did very badly.. sleepy and sore... I'm still under medicated, judging by my resting heart rate, pulse and respirations but SO MUCH better than before I started the its incredible.... I've not had the opportunity to take Armour yet, so I can't really compare... but I'm not displease with Nutri-Meds. The do have EXCELLENT customer service.. to the point where they called me on the phone to notifiy me of a change of address when they relocated their shipping facility and a second call when there was a delay in shipment when the computers were being temperamental due to the move. AND when they found out that because of the delay that I would be out of meds for three days before the meds got here.. they managed hurry the delivery to make it get here before the weekend hit and I ended up not running out! I thought that was just fantastic!
