Unfortunately, no, but I would always rule out hypothyroidism (I'm sure you

Anything that's safe for a child would be safe for an adult, definitely

including NAG. Dr. JM

Jaquelyn,

Are you indicating that hypothyroidism may cause motility issues? So,

then if hypothyroidism is present and motility issues are a problem,

then treating the hypothyroidism may help the motility? Have you seen

motility issues get better with things like Armour Thyroid? Obviously I

am interested.

Constipation is one of the hall marks of hypothyroidism, and stool transit

definitely improves with thyroid treatment.
