Guest guest
Help again please! I have a patient with progressively worsening vertigo of sudden onset 14 weeks ago. Cerebellar tests and blood tests are normal, no hearing loss but occasionally hears rushing water in L ear, CAT scan due in March. Rxs from the GP have only worsened it (decongestant and antisickness tabs) and a herbal Rx I tried including gingko, hypericum and some immune supports had no effect. PMH of note: boil on left cheek incised, abscess on left hand side (LHS) jaw, trigeminal neuralgia on LHS relating to a tooth problem (summer 2000). Smokes 15-20 per day, no alcohol at present as worsens condition. Gets very tired with having to concentrate constantly to walk anywhere. Much wax in L ear and drum slightly thickened cf R drum, lymph nodes raised. At present he is trying Ginkgo and Ginseng capsules e Geyer MNIMH Glasgow
