Recently returned from some time in the Amazon (sounds good, doesn't it).

Quebra-pedra is Phyllanthus amarus. I could try and translate from the

Portugese, but it is probably easier to read either the few things Mills

and Bone say about it in Principles and

Practice of Phytotherapy, or see Bone's Clinical Applications of Ayurvedic

and Chinese Herbs. Mostly of the information is about its antiviral liver

activity (used against Hep B)- let me know if you don't have access to

those sources, or if you would like me to attempt translation of some of

the more traditional uses.
