Workshop '07 Donor & Recipient Billing Panel

Hi everyone,

First off, we are still in the process of identifying dates & location for the '07 Workshop; the UNOS staff did on-site visits for us @ 2 hotels last week & I am going out to look @ 2 more next week. Hopefully one of them will pass muster & we'll be able to announce dates & location in January, so bear w/us a few more weeks.

However, just because we don't have a firm date or location doesn't mean the Planning Committee isn't already hard at work on the agenda. To that end, consideration is being given to a panel presentation/discussion focused on operational issues pertaining to registering, tracking, & managing both donors & recipient billings thru the evaluation & pre-tx phases for cost reporting purposes. We are looking for 3-4 participants from different centers who have a good process in place & don't mind sharing their secrets w/those @ the Workshop. If you think you have a good process in place & want to share your tips w/your fellow TFCs, please contact me directly @ LAguiar@... & please provide a brief description of your process'.
