Guest guest
I have a 5 year old patient with vaginal thrush. This was confirmed by a swab taken by her GP. Any ideas on treatment would be very welcome, I do not want to treat her per vagina. .Alder. Alnus@...

Any ideas on treatment would be verywelcome, Hi Tina, Tea tree ess oil comes to mind, diluted with a fixed oil(Calendula), massaged around lower abdomen, spine, buttocks, outside of thighs; or Thymus mastichina, green Myrtus, Rosmarinus verbenone. In the bath, Tea tree or lavender ess oils with a suitable dispersant; or a strong infusion of Calendula. Diet: minimise sugars and yeasts and include plenty of live yoghurt. Supplements: probiotics - there are special formulations for children. NB Either yog or probiotics not together. If she will drink infusions - give anti-thrush herbs. If anal suppositories are appropriate, a mixture of the massage oils in a suitable supp. base with an oil like Calandula. All the best Morag moragchacksfield@... _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
