LLLGb have an info sheet on Antenatal Expression of Colostrum available from

their online shop, you can purchase one sheet for 75p (about $1.20?) or a pad of

50 sheets. They also have a basic info sheet on Diabetes and Breastfeeding

Hi Helen and Vikki,I recently did some research on this topic: For storage: http://www.snappiescontainers.com/ and use the colostrum sized ones.I recommend that you have about 15 mls saved up. I'm really happy about finding this resource, although I am a little surprised you have to buy 100 for 17$A fullterm newborn baby has a stomach size of about about 20 mls (according to Dr Nils Bergman in his

book, Holding Your Prem, New Voices Publishing 2010), just a little more than a tablespoon (15 mls). -This means offering your baby about 10 mls if a supplement is needed, should be more than adequate and still keep her interested in nursing. Some reading: http://home.ca.inter.net/~jfisher/docs/Ethical_BFR_-Sue_.pdf Of course pregnancy hormones reduce the ability to get much by way of results. The Ameda cups can be used in the bottle for collecting colostrum with the Ameda

diaphragm piece

For example:

rum+collection & source=bl & ots=zwBpHTaUFZ & sig=bXSyqMXU3lre2X_Q4rpKwksni-c & hl=en & sa\

=X & ei=SD1NT7WCDen9sQLcwoUW & ved=0CFkQ6AEwAA#v=onepage & q=ameda%20colostrum%20colle\

ction & f=false
