Guest guest
Hey ... Thank goodness you don't have to go back to the hospital... that wouldn't be nice at all, even if they do miss you. Tomorrow is not shaping up well. Funeral Day! The kids have been down to the funeral place today to paint the casket, and put their hand prints on it... These parents are totally inspirational, they have let his friends organise everything. The Rev up at school is none too pleased about things. He rang today asking me to intervene with and the gang to see if I could bring some sort of order to proceedings... well, I'm with the parents and kids on this one, silly Rev... used to be a navy chaplain so likes everything "ship shape". Told me to tell Paddy to be "on deck" and ready for "action stations" tomorrow when he has to pipe Duncan out of the chapel... Good Grief!!! He is going to be in total shock when he sees him arrive, we have failed to tell him of the paint job! Best he didn't know we thought. Anyway, they are all off again tomorrow morning with his parents and brother to put their little mementos in with him for his journey... it is totally inspirational. I think the dogs are even going along with them... Went back to see the gang down at the hospital today, had lost about 1.5 kilos in a week or so, so no more fill for the time being, we will see how I go with what I have got. And Maree... that is all great news! Mel >> > Poor little Bella. Guest guest
Dear Mel Sounds like you are going to have a lovely sad day. Duncan is getting a wonderful send off. Be good to yourself, it sounds like you are holding up well for the gang. Good news on the weight loss. That is excellent, you are on the road there it seems. As for mine, well I had a bit of reflux last night. I am worried but I will try not eating in the evening, wasn't hungry - it was just that the food was there. My father was telling me about all the prawns, fish and lobsters he has picked up for the weekend. 48 hours ago that would have got me excited, but last night it made me want to puke.
