percentage of methylcellulose?

hi all -

i'm trying to figure out a decent percentage for use of methylcellulose on soap

products, but so far i haven't had any luck with the <1% recommended to me -

should i stick with 0.5 - 1% or is that too low a percentage?

(note to jackie - they recommended 0.3% for thickening lotions...)
