Guest guest
My daughter has started reacting to noises again: loud toilet flushing, phone, vaccuum. She screams and cries when we go into a public toilet. We've been in a few that were very loud and it scared her. Since then, she's having a very hard time with it. Is this significant of yeast or something else? Thanks, a
Guest guest
Hi a, I don't know if it is yeast causing sound sensitivity, but my daughter used to do the same thing and still does sometimes. We have used auditory intergration therapy to help. We have an in-home program. The first time we did it we used a practioner, but it was fairly expensive. The in-home program seemed to do as well. My daughter's sound sensitivity also got better after we started IV Glutathione. I am pretty sure we have had yeast issues and I know we have had parasite problems. A couple of times I have used a product called para-cleanse that seemed to help with those problems. I have had to do all of this just kind of trial and error so I don't know if any of the things we have done would be helpful to anyone else. We also found some very small ear plugs that are on something that looks like a headband. My daughter still uses them sometimes, especially in public places like the grocery story or a noisy restaurant. We found them at Wal Mart in the sporting goods section. They are used to help hunters or people working with outdoor equipment reduce noise levels. I like them because once they are in place, you really can't tell they are anything but a hairband. Sorry, I ran on and on. NBlackmon > My daughter has started reacting to noises again: loud toilet > flushing, phone, vaccuum. She screams and cries when we go into a > public toilet. Guest guest
Where does one get a in-home auditory integration program? Guest guest
We got our in-home CD's from a company called Vision Audio Inc. located in Joppa, MD. The program is called EASe. We found the company on the internet and I called and spoke with the man who designed it. They have a website so you could probably do a search and find it. He uses the same technology of AIT practitioners. It is filtered music. You do it just like with a practioner, two 30 minute sessions twice a day for 10 days. The sessions need to be separated by at least three hours. When we bought them the CDs were not expensive. Each one, there were two available at the time, we less than $100, much cheaper than the $1,000 we paid the AIT practioner.
