Guest guest
Does anyone know of a herbalist that specialises in the treatment of ME or has a special interest in the condition. Preferably someone within striking distance of London. People may be interested in a demonstration being planned in London on the 28th of March to highlight the condition of ME and to encourage more research on it. (see below). Best wishes Niki Action for ME - Volunteers Needed! Sunday 28th March 2004 We need your support with our final phase of the 1% campaign for dedicated ME research funding. We're planning a visual demonstration in Westminster on Sunday 28th March 2004. It will involve about 100 volunteers standing in a line spanning Westminster Bridge. Each will hold up a board with a letter made out of returned 1% postcards. The boards will spell out: YOU CAN'T IGNORE THE FACTS. M.E. COSTS THE UK £3.5bn A YEAR. THE 240,000 SUFFERERS WANT JUST 1% OF THAT TO RESEARCH A CURE. Afterwards postcards showing a photo of the message will be sent to MPs, Medical Research Council, Department of Health representatives and everyone who volunteers to help out. We will also approach the media to cover the stunt and our petition for £35 million research funding. Over 20,000 people signed up to the petition, which will be presented to parliament around the time of the stunt. Please pass on this request to all your group members! We know that many may not be able to come along personally but it is a great way for friends and relatives to donate their time to support the campaign. If you are able to support us and would like further details please get in touch with Amy Wootton (London Office Administrator): Tel: 020 7329 2299 or Email: london@... _________________________________________________________________ Find a cheaper internet access deal - choose one to suit you. http://www.msn.co.uk/internetaccess

Guest guest
Dear Niki I treat many people suffering from M.E/CFS with a combination of individualised environmental, nutritional and herbal med. And have had much success in recovery/symptom improvement. I myself had CFS for many years, so have much empathy and understanding regarding the illness. I have also spent years researching it and completed my Univ. dissertation on the subject in 1998 after interviewing many complementary therapists, considered experts in M.E. Guest guest
Niki, Lizzie¹s almost right I have first-hand experience of ME but not of treating it, as it happens, except of myself...certainly would be happy and interested to do so if required.
